10″ String Wound Sediment Water Filter Cartridge

Description

The string wound sediment cartridges are available in 01, 05, 10 & 20 micron ratings. The smaller the micron the better the filtration.

The string wound sediment water filter cartridge is a 10” cartridge that will fit most standard 10” water filter cartridge housings.

The cartridge is purely for removing particles and sediment out of the water.

The life of the sediment cartridge is dependent on what and how much sediment or particles are in the water. We recommend the string wound sediment water filter cartridge should be changed every six months to one year depending on water quality.

For a pre filter for an ultra violet system we recommend a 5 micron rating.

For general pre filters we recommend a 20 micron rating.
