Description
The Deluxe filter cartridge is a 20” heavy metal water filter cartridge that will fit 20” filter housings. It is unique because it reduces a wide range of heavy metals, as well as reducing the chlorine, toxins and fluorides in the water. This will improve the taste and odour. The Deluxe filter cartridge is also effective against nitrates. The table below shows some of the metals the Deluxe water filter cartridge is effective against and demonstrates the sort of reduction percentage you can expect. Contaminants such as Chloroform, Trichloreethane and Lindane were put through the filter at twice the EC allowable levels and were undetectable in the filtered water.
How The Deluxe Water Filter Cartridge Works
The Deluxe water filter cartridge sits inside a 10” cartridge housing. Water flows into the filter housing and surrounds the filter cartridge. The mains water then goes into the bottom of the water filter cartridge into the first layer of filter media. This layer of filter media will reduce the heavy metals, fluorides and nitrates. The water then flows through the second layer of filter media, reducing the chlorine and toxins in the mains water. When the drinking faucet is opened you have clean, great tasting, filtered water on tap.

Maintenance
Replace filter cartridge every six months.
