8 watt ultra violet lamp for killing bacteria. This lamp should be replaced every 6 months even if the UV lamp isl still lit looses strength after time and will not be as efficient.
If there is any sediment in the water we recommend a pre-filter (sediment filter) should be fitted before the ultra violate sterilisation system to ensure maximum efficiency.
